My Son, I Stole You from the StarsA Poem by Sierra ErwayThis came to me while watching my son playing, and suddenly he runs over to me and cuddles me like he hadn't seen me in ages. He is my world.
I saw you in the Milky Way and could't resist plucking you from your perfect place in the Universe...
I am but a black hole, concealed within a skin suit, Desperately, chaotically, trying to absorb your light and energy without sucking the very life out of you... Beautiful composition of star dust and sunshine, dirt and rain, light and dark... I see it glitter under your skin and behind your eyes. I see what THEY don't see... How can such a dark force be graced with such a treasure... I merely stole you from the stars... They may try to call you back... And I will fight like Hell to keep you.
