You Don't Know Me

You Don't Know Me

A Poem by Sierra Erway

You don't know what it's like to wake up and immediately feel extremely suicidal.
To really feel like you want to die, right now...

You don't know what it's like to have your nightmares keep playing out in your mind;
To constantly see everything you're afraid of...

You don't know what it's like to be frozen with terror at 3 a.m. because you know the monsters are still very real.
To see things that nobody else does...

You don't know what it's like to have voices in your head telling you how worthless and useless you are and how you should disappear.
To realize that nobody would care anyways...

You don't know what it's like to be put down so much that any other direction is a myth.
To know how much you don't matter to anyone...

You don't know what it's like to be cheated by those you thought were closest to you, time and time again.
To know how insignificant you are...

You don't know what it's like to lay bleeding on the brink of death, and finally feel peace.
To feel like death is your only home...

You don't know me...
But I sure as hell know you...

Personal demons are the most vile creatures, they tear at your soul with such a pretty smile.nicely done, and look at it this way, you have a voice for a generation of lost souls to speak for,so don't ever give in!!
