Like Before, It's Always Her

Like Before, It's Always Her

A Poem by Sierra Erway

You pull her in,

and push me away.

Helping her live

as I die and decay.

Tossing and turning every night in bed,

as all of my demons fill my head.

Rip me apart.

Throw me aside.

There's things about me that,

from her, you will hide.

Taking her with you- wherever you go,

Why not me? I'll never know...

You always give her all your attention,

while I lay here dead, awaitng ressurection.

It's always her that you all adore.

I don't even know what love is anymore...

It's like you hardly know I'm here

Pushing me away...

Drawing her near...

Never me.

Always her.

So, you know what?

I'm done.

Forever.
