Myself

Myself

A Poem by Sierra Erway

I'm paper thin

and falling apart.

the translucent

Shrapnel

of what I was.

What I am.

Little by little

I'm tearing apart.

Revealing the aweful truth

this delicate shield

contains.

Sierra, this is certainly revealing, but I wish I knew what started it by reading it in part inside the poem. Those words: "Paper thin" carry a lot of weight! I like it. xoxo -Mark
