She's Gone

She's Gone

A Poem by Sierra Erway

Cutting,

Slicing,

Shredding away

everything inside

that causes her pain.

She looks in the mirror,

but all she see's

is shame and hurt

and her face - ugly.

The scars on her skin

remind her of when she's hurt before...

Everything comes flooding back..

Pushing her under - again.

No one can save her

Can't stop her now..

It's too late,

she's going down..

Falling.

Bleeding.

Finally smiling-

as everything goes dark.

She can't hear you screaming..

Can't feel your arms around her..

She's gone..

You've lost her..

Finally

She's gone...
