You

You

A Poem by Sierra Erway

All the lies come pouring thorugh,

but all I seem to hear

is You.

People's bullshit makes me cry,

Piercing my eyes; making me blind.

But even so, You're by my side.

When my world spins out of control,

You always reach out and take hold;

Slowing it down, working it out;

To my heart, Your love is welcome now.

I'll let you in to look inside,

of all the things I try to hide.

You pull them out, and make me scream,

Because you make me see

the real me.

And as I lay here in this moment,

Sinking into my mind, a blackened sea,

I close my eyes...

And it's You I see...
