From The Interior.

From The Interior.

A Poem by Sierra Erway

I'm on the sidelines,

dark and out of sight.

You don't see me.

But I see you.

They see you smile,

laughing,

alive.

But I can see the real you.

Crying,

Screaming,

Dead.

You aren't really there.

The switch is stuck on auto-pilot.

I can't take the controls,

because you won't let me.

I can't fix you,

when you pretend to not be broken.

You lie...

I hate you...

I love you...

You don't see me.

But I see you.

Fake.

Broken.

Alone.

Join me...

Closer...

You can trust me.

Because I feel the same as you.

Can you see me now?

Clearer...

Clearer...

In plain sight,

you see me...

But I don't see you...
