My Own Wonderland

My Own Wonderland

A Poem by Sierra Erway

Sometimes I feel like Alice,

Trapped in Wonderland;

Trying to restore order,

Vorpal Blade in hand.

With my mind all in ruins,

And everything in chaos;

I, too, should go to the asylum,

No hard feelings.

No loss.

Sometimes I feel crazy,

Wandering about;

Distiction of reality

I am now without.

I lay asleep in nightmares,

upon my ruffled bed.

Kicking, screaming, crying,

Locked inside my head.

Sometimes I feel like Alice,

trapped in Wonderland;

thinking all these crazy thoughts,

Vorpal Blade in hand.
