You

You

A Poem by Sierra Erway

I hear you breathing,

In and out,

As we lay side by side.

Eyes closed,

My hand in yours,

Our hearts beating in sync.

I touch your face

And kiss your lips

And breathe every bit of you in.

You look at me and smile,

And I know that we're alright.

Though there's never a word spoken

In these moments passing by.

I miss you when you're dreaming

Because i know you're so far away.

But in the morning, when you wake,

I know you're back again.

Here.

With me.

Forever.

I hear you breathing,

In and out,

As we lay side by side.

Eyes closed,

My hand in yours,

Our hearts beating in sync.
