Away

Away

A Poem by sierra

Walking away from you

took everything in me

I needed to release you

from all the pain I foreseen

You tried to help

yet,no-one could

Why dont you understand

I'm no good for you

Damaged goods from the start

I never meant to break your

heart

That is what I've done

from the start to the setting of the sun

I wish you would've known me

for the REAL me

Not the one I potray for the world

to see

It's too late

and now I'll leave

Goodbye my darling

I wish you well

and pray that love will

truly find thee

they use damaged goods because it is easier to pierce the will of one who has given up already, now isn't it. why do you think jesus came to the ones nobody else wanted around or had given up on. he used their own will to strengthen and heal their hope and eventually set them free from the guilt of their own self inflicted wounds. for who else but you can heal you unless they intrude upon your will. and if it be thy will, who shall overcome it?

even christ aligned his with the father.

wake up child.
