Why I Appreciate YouA Poem by Sierra NerysFor one of the people who has helped me through the most lately...
You listen to my rambling
and you give me good advice, you're patient through near everything and somehow you're always nice. You never fail to pick me up- it doesn't matter why I'm down- and anytime I need you, you always seem to be around. You're my sanity when things are bad, for which I'll always owe you, and you never fail to make me smile- not that it's really hard to do. You introduced me to the world of Nerf, to Green Apple Italian Soda, most importantly, to hockey, and lastly, pro football... sorta. For your exquisite taste in music, and how you always want to share. For how you're honest and you're grounded and you won't let me braid your hair. Your epic skills with artistry and writing, nonetheless are only two, of many traits that make you stand out from the rest. You drew David Krejci for me- the best present I could have- and even though it's sort of weird my "stalking" makes you laugh. For your inherent love of pretty things mismatched socks, erasers, earrings and for the way you so appreciate all of life's littlest things. A teeny tiny teal Christmas tree (that really sucked to decorate) and a monkey covered Snuggie that will forever be awesomely great. Your middle name is really pretty and your last name is just great and, though people never understand, your first name has no "h." I don't know what I would have done these past few years without you And just how much that means to me ... I'm not sure you have a clue. So here's my way of thanking you for all you've done and all you do and I hope you now feel awesome just for being you. © 2012 Sierra NerysAuthor's Note

I love to write, and most of the outlets I've used don't get me very far in sharing my work with other people. Critic.. more..Writing
