Once Upon A TimeA Poem by Sierra NerysI guess you could say I was hired to write this one...Once upon a looking glass In a land not far away A chipmunk sat upon a rock While dawn slipped into day Once upon a crystal lake Grass blades swaying in the wind A mother deer stood in the wood Teaching secrets that it hid Once upon a bright blue sky In a nest above our heads A father eagle took his turn Guarding two tiny little eggs Once upon a moonlit night An owl sang her song Of winters past and summers seen And days that are now gone Once upon a time When I was just a little kid I chanced upon the island Where all these creatures live. © 2012 Sierra Nerys |

I love to write, and most of the outlets I've used don't get me very far in sharing my work with other people. Critic.. more..Writing
