Tell Me Why!

Tell Me Why!

A Poem by Siddhidatri Pande

Innocent always trapped,culpable always spared,
Goodness always hidden,malice always bared,
Righteousness always in dark shroud ,wrongdoings all flared,
Tell me just one reason for it to be for what I cared.

Sun's strays do not delight me,but thunder makes my goosebumps rise,
We see more of us when our morals die,
Blockading the  essence of reaching our height,
Tell me why reality never lies.

Noose on the bone who did little wrong,
The one who did a great one is still among his throng ,
We often hide, chiding its a dreadful day all along,
Tell me why our candle of hope does not burn for long.

Pat my cheeks dry,
Give myself a "do" or "die",
Doing it my way to make my mind,
Tell me is it a reflection of you  to which I can not turn blind.
