Lost in the sinister of our havenA Poem by Siddhidatri PandeIn the voice of a mother the yearning for her son lost to his land in a terror attack. He was just an infant, And in my soul I saw him as a beacon. He was just a kid, And he was a portrait where all the innocence hid, He was just a teen, When he widened his thoughts and began to dream. He was just a bit older, When he decided he would be his motherland's soldier. He was just a soldier, This was when his walk on tight rope came over. He was just treading the paths of manhood, Making his life reminiscent like one should. He was just on nation's call, When fate turned the tables and brought down his fall. He was just a son whose karma should emblazon, A son who was lost in the sinister of our haven.
