Darker

Sort of rap

I feel it in my veins

When fear is all they drain.

Make me look feckless,

But my darkness is limitless.

Try to go right, try to wrong,

When disappointments are all I have to go on.

Ebbing darker and darker,

I have it on like a permanent marker.

How can I spew light to drown all darkness,

Lifting my head against that murkiness.

Shove my hatred,

Quit being ill-fated.

Cause I have it on,

To mask my life song.
