A walk with my guideA Poem by Siddhidatri PandeI wrote this in the memory of a teacher who was dear to me..
When the sun was set and clear was the sky,
I came for a walk with my guide. Next day I had my competition, My mind was brimmed with intuitions. My guide smile at me, Told me the story of shining stars and powerful trees. She led me to a thought no one could lead, Introduced me to a world so far freed. She acquainted me with soaring birds, Mustangs running as swift as wind in herds. Fighting for freedom and their creed, So,they in their competition of life truly succeed. Next day as I won the competition, My face was bleared with tears in anticipation. The walk with my guide did teach me the most momentous lesson of life.
