My mind or my Heart ?!

A poem that considerably tackles the fight between our minds and our hearts !

What we think, is what we desire,
What we desire, is what we admire,
No idea why still we face that gruelling part,
Of who should I listen to my mind or my heart ?

The mind is a weapon, that's what I know,
The heart is an angel, that's what it would show,
At the time of crisis, who would serve better,
Who should I choose - my mind or my heart ?

When its the time to take a major decision,
Both seem to fight fantically for consideration,
One says "do" and the other blabbers "don't",
Now who should I consider - my mind or my heart ?

When the mind yells STUDY!, the heart won't concentrate,
When the heart would focus, the mind wouldn't tolerate,
When the exams come close by, the question there again arises,
God! Who should I leave - my mind or my heart?

The battle they face each day seems worthless,
I would predict every war as being pointless,
But if both would join hands and forget their enemity,
I'm sure they'd give birth to the very satisfying "creativity".
