I adore you, always...

I adore you, always...

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Today
you smelled salty sweet
enough to bring me to my knees
it divinely reminded me of
the weekend we spent
at the beach
this weekend past.

Today
you tasted salty dear
whispering quietly in my ear
sweet nothings
yet delighted I was
to feel you near and
taste your touch.

Today
I heard your salty swarm
beneath my loving arms
I felt you bend to my will
delighted in the thrill
of our coming together as One
you make me feel
Zen complete.

Today
you made me feel salty warm
so fine
completely, wholely Sublime
as You to me
became
One again
its never the same
it's never the same, my love without you.

I adore you, always...

OH how beautiful, being in love like this is the best feeling in the world, "Zen complete" pretty much says it all and your use of salty senses is just gorgeous. I wish everyone could feel this intensity that is overwhelming *sigh* such bliss...such togetherness...such magical power in these words.
Loved it xxx

The repetition of 'salty' in various combinations worked well to create a kind of incantation of low, and 'salty' has a winningly evocative physical feeling to it. I was particularly struck by the 'salty swarm' - the low murmurings of pleasure in the act of love... Sweet, winning writing

Oh that was so softly sensual... I could feel the warm glow of passion in every single stanza. A gorgeous piece of writing.
