Totally a lovable piece of peace. It's well drafted into the words and well defined the love near by the sea. I enjoyed reading this. Your everything's beautifully penned but the thing i just loved here or the thing that just touched me is your first stanza.. the power of your write's in your first stanza admittedly... everything's just based on that. I loved it and i felt this piece of love... which's i think made in the remembrance of someone. That's all i got... brilliant job as usual. Well done!
This reminds me of so many moonlit nights I've walked the beach alone having these same thoughts. Thanks for taking me back to that place. You truly can feel God's power in those crashing waves and inky water, especially when you've got a nice big full moon above it cutting a jagged line across the ocean to infinity. The use of the Dove metaphor I'm curious about, as the species name is spelled, 'mourning', in reference to it's call, yet you have it spelled 'Morning' - could that be an intentional spelling to allude to a different dimension of the poem? Anyways, beautiful little piece of sorrowful introspection. Greatly enjoyed this.

I appreciate how much your writing connects emotionally, and the sea seems to sing for these lovers to be together again. Beautiful writing.
Paul Tillich: "Language... has created the word "loneliness" to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word "solitude" to express the glory of being alone."
Such a mix of sadness and beauty, the sea, the longing, the desire... Was moved by the thought that even something as wonderful as the ocean can fade when love is absent. Profound write.
