Landed in my ArmsA Poem by Siddartha Beth PierceYou wrapped your arms around me
I could not say why then
that it seemed I had always been there
the apple of your eye.
I have no fear
that this is the way it is supposed to be
me with you and you with me.
I long to be near you
every moment
of every day
for this-
I simply pray.
How long have I waited
for a love so true
the shade of which
they always say is blue.
How odd a choice in shade
as it seems to say sad
though that is far from where we are
your smile has always made me glad.
I adore you more than
words can do justice to these feelings
of love and admiration
I can only hope they will
continue on infinitely without
any hinderence to its fruition.
Call me a name
it doesn't matter what
I once said
yet coming from you
I am left feeling warm inside
instead of cold and blue.
You see the trueness here
that which I speak of
the True Blue man of my dreams
has finally landed in my arms.
