Come True

Come True

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

>>>>>>>>>>  There is nothing
>>>>>>>>>>  That I long for more
>>>>>>>>>>  Than to be with you
>>>>>>>>>>  For infinity
>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>  Do those words frighten you?
>>>>>>>>>>  Are you afraid to hear my
>>>>>>>>>>  Hearts true calling?
>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>  It is so, however, that
>>>>>>>>>>  I long for you every
>>>>>>>>>>  Moment of everyday
>>>>>>>>>>  And every evening
>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>  To wake in your sweet
>>>>>>>>>>  Embrace every morning
>>>>>>>>>>  And then begin again anew
>>>>>>>>>>  On the following
>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>  Of every moment that passes.
>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>  Those without you sting
>>>>>>>>>>  Like the most dangerous of bees
>>>>>>>>>>  Those spent with you
>>>>>>>>>>  Pass before me like the gentlest
>>>>>>>>>>  Summer breeze
>>>>>>>>>>  A dream
>>>>>>>>>>  Come True.

. . .funny how a unique formatting can bring a fresh and powerful tone to a poem. I had to laugh at a line I read: "Those without you sting Like the most dangerous of bees", I thought you said, "Like the most dangerous of beers", Silly huh?

A very nice piece but what's with all the >>>>>>>>>>>>? I don't get it.

Do those words frighten you?
Are you afraid to hear my
Hearts true calling?

Love can be a scary thing for it has such great emotional risk but has the greatest rewards as well...
another beautiful penning of the greatest gift you can give anyone.

Very sweet, but I'd admit that the 'dangerous bees' bit threw me off a little bit.
It feels like the flow is just a little off, but maybe you intended it that way.
A quick fix on a gramatical error, Hearts should be Heart's.
