Hands

Hands

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

I have sought

a lifetime

for hands like yours

the ones that take mine

in yours

kiss them,

lick them

love them

as if they were your own.

You touch me like no other

in a myriad of ways

 that are loving,

wild and unforgiving.

I want to hear your heart

beat every night

your member swell beneath

my hot breath and tongue.

You have eclipsed me

like the luminescent moon

that shone upon us

as we walked arm and arm.

My dear, you mean more

to me than

you could imagine-

seperated from you

I long for your kind graces

your smiling face

and the the sweet smell

of our coffee in the morn.

Typo corrections: "eclipsed" and "separated."

"You touch me like no other/in a myriad of ways/that are loving,/wild and unforgiving."

I like the juxtaposition of "loving" with "wild and unforgiving" -- speaks to the current connecting heart with libido.

"Incandescent" is one of my favorite words -- but it is heat-generating, and I find it difficult to resolve with "moon." Tho' the lunar body is a romantic icon, it speaks of yearning delicacies at midnite; it is the sun which is incandescent. Perhaps "luminescent," or a comparable syllabic qualifier.

All the rest flows sweet and true, in a twilight of meaning between physicality and psychic yearning.

Such delicately loving piece... sensual but graceful... no doubt that there is nothing like a loving touch, it's where you can tell a lot bout the others emotions...

You have eclipsed me
like the luminescent moon
that shone upon us
as we walked arm and arm.

I really love this stanza for although the person taken over your heart you still walk side by side as love should be. You are a gifted writer.

This is gorgeous and very passionate.. I was swept away in a warm stream of sensual joy. Your word weaving is superb, no problems at all. Much enjoyed the read!

I look for passion and sincerity when I read a poem. It's really easy to distinquish manufactured passion and love, from the real emotions. I felt real feelings in this piece. Good work. Rain.. Merry Christmas :)

This was very pretty. I enjoyed it colossally....sounds tender and honest... thank you for stepping by and reviewing my poem. This is such a picture of innocent love, that's what I like about it.
Be well. l.

such a loving adventure to read and since I've been a coffee consumer for oh, 30 years awakening to kind graces, a smiling face and the aroma of coffee in the mornin' would be a fine way to begin a day with the one love. Thanks for making me dream and smile. Sallie Bear
