Chocolate Eyes

Chocolate Eyes

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Your smile warms me

from within

from without

I thank thee

for your company

a bit of cafe

a stroll in the park

before dark

brings me to your

chocolate eyes

once more

where I see

within

from without

noticing something

in your stare

that cries

for me

to be looked

upon again

by you

my doe-eyed dear.

Very cute! I love the the lines about

"a bit of cafe
a stroll in the park
before dark
brings me to your
chocolate eyes"

Very wonderful poem about those eyes. I could take it personal if it weren't for the picture above. Great write!

I really fell into the sincere romance of this sweetly flowing gem, very good word play from the soul. Exquisite!
