I Could

I Could

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

You kissed me

deep within my

sleep

as I dreamt of you

rising towards me

taking me aback

not in fear

however,

in elation,

anticipation

of what might

become of us

if we were

to unite as One

I might even

come undone

considering

a simple look

from you

melts me

upon the spot-

have you got a clue

that I could,

I could,

I could

love you.
