What and awesome poem!! I'll have to spend a little time thinking back upon my memories to recall the breath-taking moments I've experienced.
One for sure was the first trip west when I first saw the Rocky Mountains in the distance, still several driving days away. Thanks for sharing your memories and reminding me of my own.

This is a wonderful write. I love the way you discribe each breathtaken moment through out time. When I read someone elses special moments in time I can normally draw a comparison with my own but even if I couldn't draw one I could get lost in you moments of beauty. Nice write
The fact this poem involved Fugazi immediately gave it my approval. One of the best punk bands to walk the hardcore scene - wish I had been old enough to see it. I love how this shows sort of a progressive flashback through the most fabled memories of the narrator's life. From the birth of her son to an art museum where she was enraptured by the paintings of someone long passed on, to a night in youth just hanging out with old friends at one of the most pivotal junctures in her life. I can relate, except of course for having a son, but in that respect, I can at least imagine. Nicely done.
Exactly. Especially the Rothko's. Seeing all the Monet's of Rouen cathedral together. Walking alone along Inch strand in Ireland and being almost too open.
Sidartha, this poem is nostalgia, sentimental endearment, memories, pondering those things the heart finds as defining specialness, when the world centers around the moment, the emotion, the love, the happiness felt is all that matters at that
particular time, I loved the analogies you used, like walking in the street after a concert, the birth of your son, and what a joyous moment that was, the spirit room where are feels the soul, your words reflect the same art capturing simplicity in a
jar like fire flies, and how you do it with ease, this is beautifully written.
