Light Becomes You

Light Becomes You

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Light Becomes You

with the flickering

in your eyes

I see no demise

of that which

brings us together

our gaze met

once again

in the

Brightness of

our beings

I see

hope,

peace,

tranquility

in the gentle

knowing

passed

from you to me-

Light Becomes You.

in your eyes: the light the heat, in your eyes.
A thousand Churches...
in your eyes.

Very much intimidated really by the amount your words are so followed Sid-Beth who Pierce me so! The lance o light so persuasive in the oriented direction... Home.

An old poem to read its date and so tender still, to your heart. The shape so lovely, I stare before attempting the actual meaning. Only its title and the shape that remind? Ahhh, a form of you, there in an up turn in phrase I dare not read and denies this pleasure that approach... my anticipation. Then...
the tension,
comes

Light Becomes You

yes, yes. I see. Again comes that flicker. That flame.

Brightness of
our being

reflected so close, the shape, the form. That exquisite taste

in the gentle

knowing
passed

no in passing...

our gaze met

our beings

I see
hope,
peace,
tranquility

with the flickering

I see no demise
brings us together

our beings passed

The fullness of that wondrous form felt priorly

in the
knowing

Light Becomes You. In the form the form, the same beauty. In your eyes.

Beautifully structured, flow was perfect (even without puncuation) and word selection shows that even with a shorter versed piece, it can produce an impact.

Beautiful title to catch the eye as well.

Ha! Now this is this sort of poetry I adore, metaphysical and innocent. Light is a divine presence believed by Quakers to enlighten and guide the soul...so many loved light... even old Egyptian worshiped sun god Ra.. they knew: everything is light. I adored your soothing wonderful poem, love your innate ability to make me feel through your words, such a great poetess philosopher you are! love, lara. thx for taking time and reviewing my Intimacy - poem, much appreciated.

The lack of puncuation led me astray at first and I found myself wondering if I was reading it in the correct tone. A few rereads, however, and I was drawn in. Very good job, yet another for you, chap

Simple. Majestic. What an Ode to the one you wrote about.

Enchanting! The piece sends out a blissful, light quality to it, fitting for the name. Tranquility and peace are truly present in this writing. Everything about it is airy, soothing, and calm. The peace ripples in a way, like a stream. Beautiful job. :)
