Talk of the Ages

Talk of the Ages

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Fingers led

down your back

nails biting into your skin

as your masochism

arises

with your pheromones

a sweet delight

amidst the incense,

the candles ember

bleeding, waxing poetic

upon your skin

as you begin

to shake

before my words

releasing that tension

we felt building

amidst galleries,

wine, calamari

and the talk of the ages.

very nice weave of the romantic and sadistic. the trusting and erotic play of pain and sensation.

i love this. could relate to many sides of it. it had a sort of classic elegance and yet also a play on words naughtiness that was entertaining as well.

"waxing poetic" made me smile. drip drop. yes?

the thing i really enjoyed about this poem is that i didn't finish it with a clear cut idea of what exactly was meant.... you left it open to interpretation.

thank you.

Oh, this one is a delight. Seems like the two were predestined to meet having done so throughout the ages...there is that fatalistic thing about it that makes this piece divine...

Very beautifully sensual and feeling myself dragged into the moment, as always, with a caress of a touch :)

Um, I like calamari, kind of chewy though. I love seafood, especially batter fried fantail shrimp and scallops. Sounds like the beginnings of an evening full of naughty fun. Great little poem you've penned here.

...and the talk of the ages go on forever without any pause or hiatus. It is life. Just relish it with good sense of feeling. I like it. Yet, another good poem illustrated with full ornaments and simplicity.

Thank you.
