Across the Threshold

Across the Threshold

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

We stepped across the threshold

into a new enchanting land

not knowing how we got there

or what might be close at hand.

Yet, we did it together

you and I

for that I am eternally grateful

I let out with a sigh.

For this new journey

is just beginning

who knows where it will lead-

but I feel strongly that noone

will impede

our moving gracefully

within this new place

the joy of which is written

upon your smiling face.

What this has shown me most is

knowing that we are all

here together

experiencing this enchanted land

heeding the call

to embrace the beauty

shone forth

by our surroundings

and ourselves.

The has such an adventurous tone to it.

We stepped across the threshold

into a new enchanting land

not knowing how we got there

or what might be close at hand.

Knowing you have that special someone with you to face the journey of life makes all of the difference! :-))

I love the feeling of beginning an exciting new journey in an unfamiliar but wondrous place. I also like that you are relieved to have that special person with you. It adds a feeling of companionship and trust. Good job!
