As So Many Speak Of

As So Many Speak Of

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

One fell to the heart of darkness

there is no reason why

he just gave up without

an ounce of try

And as she sat bewildered

she believed in him still

and so he became the Light

as it was her will

So no matter how lonely

you may feel

remember there is a savior

and someone who may seal

your fate with a kiss of love

instead of hate

as so many speak of

in these times of despair.
