You and I

You and I

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Excursions upon the wind

where dreams play

in the breeze

of never been

Reality comes too soon

with the setting of la lune

yet before long

night returns

Once again

I can escape to that place

where we embrace

within the wind

of dreamlands sway.

Sweet bliss

kisses upon lips, lids,

foreheads

napes of necks

in multiple attacks

Of subconsious purity

set free

within our mind's eye

joined in unity

You and I.

Amazing, This is a poem I had written inspired by your wonderful words here.

"Reality of the poet's pen"

Loves embrace by our minds eye
Dreams unfold, causing ones heart
To flutter

Two souls desires, seen dancing
Upon their horizons
Of reality

Words, unspoken, written
In the silver lining of their painted skies
Etched in ink with our poets pens

Within the furrows of folded paper
Our dreams, you and I
Will become, reality

Reality of the poet's pen

wow, congratulations on this poem being in the top writing Sid, a truly deserving honour.

this poem shimmers and flows like a stream of pure sparkling water in a mountain forest.

I particularly like the rhyming and the imagery of the very last stanza.

Dear Sid,

This is one of my favorites of your's!
I will think of this one later, when my mind wanders
into that, other night.
