You Set Me Free

You Set Me Free

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

May we illicit

electric blue

the hue

your Eternal Love

mesmerized in glimmers

within your eyes

captured with the flames

glare

set astare

within your mind's eye

shining forth

with understanding

knowing

my soul so silent

yet vibrant

with the colors of prisms

cast in your eyes

glance

captured in your trance

of captivating charm

as I long to know no other

but you and your willingness

to accept me as I am

truly blessed

by this grasp

that has my heart and soul

in tow

in the knowing of you and me

as One

spinning in Infinity

you set me free.

I like you kept the ferences to the colors going.. with the colors of prisms cast in your eyes.. great line right there..

you finished it strong.

I will say if felt a bit choppy, but nevertheless a great write, it was not a distracting factor by n e means.

I'm happy that you are able to feel such feelings, and have found such a person in your life. I love positivity

much love n respect

I really like this ode...for some reason I'd like to have one more modifier in front of "grasp"

truly blessed
by this grasp
that has my heart and soul
in tow

It would soften the grip and add melody to what is otherwise a proper balance...

in tow
in the knowing of you and me
as One
spinning in Infinity
you set me free.

Like the ending which flows within without...perfectly

Well you know me... I read God into this, he is the author of love!

To those blessed to find this feeling in another is as beautiful as your words.

The timing for me to read this today was perfect, thank you! -:3 )~~~

to be accepted as you are... lovely.

the opening was great.

"my soul so silent

yet vibrant

with the colors of prisms

cast in your eyes"

and that was my favorite part. :) loved the choice of line breaks, as well. set the pace really well

Amazing. It's funny, because it felt rather choppy to me, but it still worked wonderfully! It kind of felt like a circuit poem. The end of each section became the beginning of the next. Very clever!
