Two of a Kind

Two of a Kind

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

The sands of time

walk in rhyme

beyond the seascape

captured in the wind

where did it begin

in an hourglass

shape of her

upon the shore

before the sands of time

blew my mind

with her sweet breath

upon the wind

and the nape of my neck

shipwrecked here

for her to find me

in the tracks I left for

them

HELP

it said

and so was lead

in trapsing them out

to her side

where I may abide

forever in the glimmer

of her hair

the fruitfulness of

her stare

the lair by the seaside

as two of a kind.

Dear Sid, that was just wonderful!

"where did it begin
in an hourglass
shape of her
upon the shore
before the sands of time
blew my mind
with her sweet breath
upon the wind
and the nape of my neck
shipwrecked here
for her to find me
in the tracks I left for them"

Beautiful!
Going in my favorites!
