Anew

Anew

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

To begin anew

afresh

awash

with your sweet breath

upon my cheek

I seek

nothing more or less

than this

the perfection

of our crime

of loving one another

let noone put us asunder

as it is True

as the deepest sky

of cobalt blue

the emerald colors

of the pines

and my eyes

that reach yours

the doe-est brown

that melt my

very

soul.

Now that's some pretty eyes. Loved your descriptions all the way through. Great piece. Rain..

the deepest blue within the mountain
I'll make for you blue lava fountain
and though I'm honour bound with every hue
I'll adorn these words Lapis Lazuli blue
and capture your reflection
in the world's gossamer
in between
and ocean harmony

WOW,
Robin

a very beautiful breathtaking poem! It just feels fresh
and new with lots of promise. And is love a crime? This poem
reads very smoothly and just feels good. I like very much!
