![]() Mon AmiA Poem by Siddartha Beth PierceFishing lures may have been the way to capture your heart to mine.
But words, I know are truly what your soul inside craves near.
And yet I speak them no more to you as you have gone away and never were mine to embrace to begin with anyway.
And still I hope and pray each day that you may find a way to reach out to me if only to say 'At least, we were friends.'
A smile, a taunt, a flirt you were although you were taken and in the end, my kind pal you have left me forsaken.
Yet in the hours and miles that seperate our beings I still feel that you were once and always will be one partaking in the same things that I do the passion for writing we feel is so sincere and we are alike in blood as well.
Could you, feel my spell my smell, it did so well to bring you to me and now you've gone but still I know you rather well as will be so forever more as true love perhaps is not enough but is in the sharing.
Though our time together did not last longer than a year or two I still feel you were a kindred soul and I thank you for your graces.
