Those Eyes

Those Eyes

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Those eyes I've sought

all my life

seem brown to me

a doe-eyed man I seek

I can not say why

I don't eat chocolate

but would taste the

nuance of your

ebony tinged gaze

every moment

that I breath

as I know somehow

my true love

lives behind those brown eyes

and seeks my emerald return.

You should change breath to breathe (unless it was intentional) but on the whole, quite pretty.
