A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

When the winds came

I thought they might

breath your name

to me-

When the fires roared

I thought your scent

would have soared

all around me-

When the water rose

I thought you might

be rubbing toes

with me in the sand-

Yet all of these

have come and gone

and ye have yet to stand

before me.

Although, I know my dear

that you are near

for I feel you everyday-

When I wake

the warmth of the sun

is your embrace-

When I sleep

the moon slips on

her grateful face

smiling down upon us.

Whether together

now or later then

I do know that

we shall always be

sweet and loving friends.

beatiful in its simplicity M'Lady I waited a long time for my soul mate we have been married now for over three years but it feels as though we have always been a couple.WE share similar tastes in most things we both write paint and draw,.We can agree to disagree but this seldom happens we are equal in our partnership no dominatory issues at all. best of all we talk and talk sharing our different life times of experience. We can critique each others work with total and professional honesty. I know how lucky I am to have married a writer who undestands what is to be driven by a muse

As the wind flows through your hair
Listen to your heart
You will hear my name

When the fires ignite
The passions of desire
Sets with the sun

When the water rose
I was watching the sea breeze
Flow through your white cotton dress

I'm here with you, standing beside you
Dancing with your soul

Hearing you speak, embracing my heart
The warmth I feel is the light of your soul

The moon glides over your body
The fingers of my soul
Wants to touch you

Yes always, the closest of friends
You are always thought of.

Gang, don't take this poem of a comment the wrong way.
There is nothing going on between us.
This is just who I am and I do love this little lady.
