Guarded By Each and Every Element

Guarded By Each and Every Element

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Golden hues, cry out my muse

are one of the many splendor

that you should adore

Yet I know that you prefer silver

Shall I let into your very being

celtic rings

and things

are what you wear because

I have told you to

seek them out

and let noone put us asunder-

The beauty of the circle of life

as it surrounds us each day

but pleases my love

remember too,

that gold has its splendor as well

not only at the market

but in its shiny hue-

That I place upon your finger

so that all will know

my love is so

that not one could make different

and you will see then

you are guarded by each and every element.

This can be interpretted many ways! Just like an artist to leave it up to the reader...I love this one. There are so many ways i can view the 'circle' as it were. Nice job.
