Me

Me

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

A woman

with golden hair

emerald eyes

high cheekboned

from the Celtic clan

once known.

A sculptress

who molds

with molten iron,

ropes and

scented wax.

A poetess

who lingers

upon the pages

of les livres

everyday in hoping

to find the words to say that...

A Mother

is what is the best of me

kisses throughout your ages, son

my only one

and my true heart and soul walk

about with his tender feet

upon the earth

that is that which makes me,

Me.

I think this is a very good poem about 'Me'.. it says so much without saying too much,,
For me when you say ' A Mother

A great and noble part of you and all mothers to be proud of .

Oh, I so agree! This is lovely. Of all the things I am, the one that I celebrate the most is being the mother of my two kids! It makes me the best me. They make me want to be the best me too. This is a nice proclamation here!

J'adore les livres!

Good thing that's the only French you used, because that's probably the gist of what I learned...

Good work here, though!
