The Wind of Change

The Wind of Change

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

When once again

I sit to write

nothing but you

comes to mind

in your absence

I have seen

the most obscene

occurences

yet you are here

no longer to share

in the wonder

of this little girl

lost in the wind

of change.

Another Great!

I like what the first stanza says. So much can be said and started from this. The inner poet of all our crossroads coming to life.

I like the form and simplicity here. The winds of change, obscene occurances, and the image made me think of an approaching tornado. At least thats what I started dreaming about once tossed in the major winds of change. Glad to say the tornados passed by and went away.
-:3 )~~~ Oh and "the wonder of the girl" may not be known to one but always to another, the most important one.
