Forgiveness

Forgiveness

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

A woven soul placed back together

after seperation anxiety from child and hearth-

tore it to little pieces.

Together again it sings a song of mercy

to all who part their loved one's hearts-

for vengeance or insecurity.

Remember when no matter what

a family stuck together-

and now and then divorce sets in and rips us all apart.

A long as you can love again

there is hope for each of us, everyone-

But remember, sons and daughters, no matter what

mothers and fathers do not always stay together.

And though it hurts each and everyone of us

we must attempt to put aside our differences

and remember still we all are kin

and meant to love one another.

Its always a hard and difficult thing when children are evolved. My wife and I just celebrated our 30th and we still talk of the what if. We never know. I've always told her that I never wanted to fight but I would want to try and get over our differences and be friends and get on with our lives.

I don't know if I'm stepping out of line here by saying this....If this poem is based on reality, it is well done and we are all here for you sid....remember that.

A bit sad of a piece, but it forms truely a beautiful reflection none the less...
Although I personally believe that a divorce in some cases is a must, like if you have abuse or crap like that, none the less I take every relationship after the words "I love you" as if I was married to that person! Yeah its crazy, no wonder I was must my life single, but none the less that made me kinda always making the end of relationship never an option for me to take, if the other person takes it, then yes I would try to fix it, but without ending up being a head each to them, sometimes if you love something you should let it go! and usually it does come back, which makes my forgiveness not that great as it aint that lasting! And sorry I got lost within my words here!!!

Once again, beautiful piece, and really made e thing a bit back which I hardly ever do,
Hope to read more of your wonderful writings, keep it up,
All the best,

Very humble, and a beautiful piece, I will show this to my girls, divorce is never ever easy and we
live with the consequences years later. But we are bound by love...............

Very vivid, thank you for sharing.

Hello,
There is something rather haunting about, not only the content of this sad piece of poetry, but also the music and meter behind it. May I humbly suggest you somehow straighten out...or even-out... the symmetry of the verses so that your song is allowed to emerge more clearly. Read it aloud and listen to what you have written in its form...see if you can hear the rhythm of it...where it peeks through, where it strains...and where is is hidden. I know I heard the music in this...don't let it be hidden.
