Here Together Now

Here Together Now

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

A golden ring you placed

around my heart

to show me your devotion-

that no matter whether

here together now

or far apart

we would always be

linked subliminally

through love's life

and commotion.

A platinum being

are thee

that protects me so

whether together now

or far apart-

as your love shines to me

in silver scenes

that dance luminously

before my eyes

in the dark.

A mirage are you

I think not

because I feel you

near me

at all times

whether together now

or far apart

we are linked

umbilically

forevermore.

You are always such an artist with your words and their placement to give such a powerful impactful sense of a vivid image that you paint. I am always so pleased and feel a wholeness to myself after reading your words. You once again have me in awe.

A golden ring...a platinum being...a mirage...great images. Two so valuable, a third to demonstrate the ethereal quality of beauty/love. Stanzas move with such grace and softness. "...linked/umbilically/forevermore."--what a great way to express eternity and the birth of soul mates! Imagine! To be aware of such emotion and the reason for it before it is gone forever...a true feeling of celebration.

This has a gentle rhythm to it, one which speaks of warm ocean currents and eyes looking towards the sky, dreaming...

Soothing. Lulling.

the refrain gives it a feel of expansion and contraction, letting go and pulling back....nice work

This work flows nicely. I love the way it rhymes. I am not good at that. It always impresses me. LOL Really fine work.
