Upon My DoorstepA Poem by Siddartha Beth PierceOnce you came to my door a darling smile you bore within your eyes I saw the sweet dance of love unforsaken- by anything, anyone that stepped before us they would immediately turn to dust with the casting of your stare- a magic duo to be sure is what we were- yet you had to go away and to this day I remember you fondly- those eyes that could melt the polar icecaps flooding the world with our tears.
