I like this piece because it takes the "block" one step further, into the fear. When I get really stuck, it can feel like you're NEVER going to write again. That cloying nauseousness can be quite debilitating. The only way to pass the fear is to go through it. The frustration at the end is very telling as well. When the words spill forth onto the page and you look at it in disgust. "How could I, as brilliant as I have been write something so awful!" I've had that feeling countless times. Nothing will do.
I hope writing this got you past your block, I will look upon it when I hit the next one. Thanks!
oi! i hate the block beyond anything else in the world, it seems to be the worst part of being a writer. i find it best to do exactly what you've done here, just write. . .write whatever comes to your mind, no worries not thought. i loved this piece because i could connect. nicely done

I understand this piece, and so does every one who feels compelled to write. When they hit the wall, there is nothing to write about except the wall. lol. What I find most interesting is the little stories within our life. The friday nights as a teenager, the feelings of a first dance, or kiss. You have much talent. Don't wait for that magnificant piece..just write Talent can take a seemingly mundane experience and create beauty out of it. We all can feel this piece. Rain..
Writing about writer's block is always a good first step. LOL This is a wonderful work expressing something we have all felt at one time or another. Keep breathing... this too shall pass. Cheers.
