Lovers New

Lovers New

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Swirling leaves

mark the scene

of that which was left between us-

A sad goodbye

with tears in eyes

to say our final adieu.

Now the snow has set

upon this scape

that once had us

hand in hand

yet now finds us

alone

forever forlorn

that we made our

sweet escape.

Although, when the spring comes

like a fawn or doe

we will jump and prance again

for we found our way

in the end

into the arms of lovers new.

Oh yes, the growth and beauty
Of Mother Natures four seasons.

Newness of birth, a leaf
born for a season
a season of life, withering the storms.

Winds of change
dancing with her
in the midst of summer.

Fall has come, she dances under your feet
looking upon your smile,
the freshness of a tear, your tear
brings it back to life again
finding its self
in the beauty of your eyes.

What a lovely poem. It has spring and brightness all over it. You seem to transfer a beauty and joyfulness into your work. What an absolute pleasure to read. BTW, thank you for your review. It was one of the most beautifully written reviews I have ever received.

love and hugs,

You really are fascinated by nature and all it's awe. I love nature, but only from a place I can sleep that has showers. lol. You have such a fluent way of describing the flush of seasons

Thank goodness for Spring. Somehow the thought of another spring is just really sad.
