From Your GraveA Poem by Siddartha Beth PierceA true story...From your grave you spoke to me in a most loving dream- I felt you near while I slept as a teenager even wept- I missed you so but the words you said while I was safe in my bed had a lesson to be sure- You said, 'My dear granddaughter, do not worry about me, I just have some things to work out with my father.'
Even then I knew not that man's name as he was dead before I came- but what you spoke held true as afterwards I found out that he had beaten your mother all her adult life- I suppose he must have been forgiven somehow if you found him there with you- in heaven.
