I could feel the juice on your lips and slipping down your throat in that bed where the cream comes on tap as well.... and then the pleasures of hand-picked fruit... of a daily repast, of raw delights that stir and satisfy... swelling and exploding... uh hu!

this is a scrumptiously delicious tribute to one of Nature's finest creations. It's hard to believe that the same Nature that created strawberries also created things like parasites and flies. Of course this poem can also be read as an extended metaphor for the mechanics of love and intimacy.
Okay Siddartha, you have made me very hungry for the fresh crimson strawberry delight!!! They sound so fresh...and I love fresh. We have a Raspberry farm here, but not sure about strawberries!?? You have painted a perfect picture here with your wording and imagery. Makes me want to get in on that canning parade! Yum!
Mission accomplished. This write has my stomach growling...Well done, friend!
Smiling upon the name you gave this....Great poem.
My mind is going in all directions on this one as for a comment, wanting to write something here, but not sure how to write it.
Mmm yummy... I just got a craving for those sweet strawberries... You got me dreaming of summer... Ah... Can't wait... - beautiful way of saying things... Thanks...
MMM, very tasty. I do enjoy the way you present a certain, 'presumption', then so delicately you prove the readers presumption wrong!...very good! Great imagery. Do you have some dipping chocolate?
Again you sideswipe me with the flipped ending. I love how the strawberries are enjoyed evening then morning, so naughty-delicious, and set up with the drop'em in the morning cereal ploy, a killer con. I also enjoyed the lyrical nature of "upon the lips summer's fruitful bliss". And the enigmatic "delicious berry too- explodes" in flagrente delicto.
