Candle magic illuminates the night

shining forth their bright light.

 

The candle red maintains health and strength

sex, passion, courage and protection

it is the element of fire

burning brighter for every lover Divine.

 

Pink is love, friendship and compassion

set it aflame for relaxation.

 

Yellow brings forth intellect

confidence and divination

along with communication

eloquence, travel and movement too

are some of the things that yellow may do-

It is the element of air and symbolizes the sun.

 

Green candles are the blessing of honey and prosperity

employment and fertility

it symbolizes healing and growth

as well as stands for Mother Earth.

 

Finally, Blue in its majestic claim

can heal as well bring peace forthright

enhances psychism, patience and happiness

it is the element of water

and represents the sky.

Interesting. I work at a hospital's business office, so I don't work with patients much, but I'm aware of our policies. The poem made me think of aroma therapy, which has really caught on at our hospital. I wasn't aware of all the connotations from the colors of candles.
