Moonrise - Memorial Day

Moonrise - Memorial Day

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Bonjour mademoiselle.

Hourglass shaped

sands of time

swelled with the tide

as she blew

up from the sea

the size of the sky

times trinity.

Neon pink

tangerine

Salty sweet

my baby blue

in the backseat.

The goddess nude

round

slithering softly

to a higher perch

yellowing

gold

pure

angelic

white.

PEACE

my love

you, me and he

will ride

all

evening.
