Puzzle Piece

Puzzle Piece

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce
"

'Do you feel like a puzzle who hasn't found it's missing piece?' - Coldplay

"

The word

anachronism

recently crossed my desk

a few days ago

do you suppose

this is the plague

we have met?

To exist in two different

times

One calling for the other

yet seperated

by ages

unknown.

Have you found

your missing piece

yet

do you wander

lust free

longing for

the love of that

perfect One

that will fill

your void.

I once thought

I met a man

that met

those expectations

so few

yet so many

as he did not stay

but went along his way

beyond

my comprehension.

Yet, you or he

may fill that space

set me free

from this misery

of looking for that

perfect fit

that puzzle piece

with the right,

to complete me.

I really enjoy reading your poems, they are a sculpture of thought to embrace.
the way ideas inspire understanding in the reader, this poem reminds me of creation, life
love and longing, and mystery. knowing you have found an inner peace
to a struggle and a coming to terms, this poem is a excellent, amazing expression
