Taking Turns

Taking Turns

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Mon chat

I sat upon

by accident

and he did leap

and squeal

to complain

of the pain

that I had set upon him.

So sorry dear

I did not see you there

but was thinking of something else

although in turn

it seems only fair

as in MY lap

you purr so often.

I've heard that indignant yelp more than once. Hehe ^^
Love the way you put this together. Great choice of words. Love it!
